A 59-YEAR-OLD woman from Oxford has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and drink-driving.
Thames Valley Police said it was seeking witnesses to a near-collision between a 4x4 and a saloon car yesterday.
It is part of investigations into alleged dangerous driving on the A329 between Great Milton and Stadhampton.
At about 7pm on Sunday, a Land Rover Discovery is reported to have avoided a head-on collision with a silver BMW saloon and was then “driven erratically” on the B480 between Stadhampton and Cuddesdon.
PC Edward Crofts of the roads policing unit at Abingdon Police Station said: “I believe that numerous people may have seen this vehicle driving erratically.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen this to please come forward and let us know.”
The 59-year-old woman has been released on bail until August 28.
