MICHELIN-starred chef, Matt Weedon is serving up a host of tasty dishes made from local produce at the Oxfordshire Inn he has just taken over.

The Lamb Inn at Crawley, near Witney re-opened in November 2014 following a major refurbishment by Mr Weedon and his wife Rachel.

Mr Weedon is now heading up the kitchen, while Rachel, is managing front-of-house.

The couple have introduced a new, modern British menu showcasing Mr Weedon’s talents using the best locally-sourced produce he can get.

Prior to The Lamb, Mr Weedon was executive chef at the Lords of the Manor hotel in the Cotswold village of Upper Slaughter where he gained a Michelin star in 2008.

He achieved his first star at Glenapp Castle in Ayrshire, Scotland in 2007 and held the accolade for more than six years.

He also worked at the L’Ortolan restaurant in Berkshire, working under John Burton Race, Martin Burge and Alan Murchison.

He was listed in the Telegraph Top 100 chefs in 2012 and in the recently published Good Food Guide 2015 at number 59.

Seating up to 45, The Lamb has lunch dishes from £6.50 while dinner prices range from £7.50 for starters to main courses from £17 and desserts from £5.
