A LARGE amount of metal has been stolen from an industrial estate in Eynsham.
Thames Valley Police said between Saturday, May 2, and Tuesday, May 5, a large quantity of metal weighing almost 32.3 tonnes was stolen from an industrial unit at Oakfield Industrial Estate in Stanton Harcourt Road.
At about 10pm on May 2 the CCTV cameras were moved at the location, preventing them from recording.
PC Lisa Chapman from Witney police station said: “It is likely a large HGV would have been used in this incident, and also a fork-lift truck.”
