OXFORD’s Eastern Bypass road was briefly closed this afternoon, following reports of dangerous driving.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Lucy Billen said the northbound carriageway near Cowley was shut between 1.43pm and 1.58pm.

She added: "We were called following reports from a member of the public of a vehicle being driven dangerously and erratically.
"There were also reports of items being thrown out of the vehicle on to the carriageway."
Officers closed the carriageway to stop and search a vehicle, but no one was arrested and no items were recovered.
