1. DESMON JONES, 31, of Owens Way, Cowley, admitted stealing groceries worth £222 from BP Express in Wolvercote on December 21. Also admitted stealing groceries worth £189.60 from the Cooperative in Kennington on January 8 and stealing groceries worth £230 in the Co-operative in Oxford on January 10. Sentenced to a 12-week prison term suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay a total of £639.60 compensation and two victim surcharge payments of £80 each.
  2. STEVEN THOMAS, 51, of Clinton Close, Oxford, admitted being in charge of a motor vehicle whilst over the legal alcohol limit on land adjacent to Temple Cowley Pools, Temple Road, Oxford on April 12. Had 97 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £495 and ordered to pay a £50 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with 10 points.
  3. PAOLA DIAZ CAMPOS, 34, of Giles Road, Oxford, admitted failing to send her child to school regularly without reasonable justification between December 8 and February 13. Fined £175 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £120 costs.
  4. RICHARD ELLIS-CHAPEL, 43, of Westfield Road, Witney, convicted of travelling on a train without a ticket on October 27 at Didcot Parkway. Fined £265 and ordered to pay £25.60 compensation, a £27 victim surcharge and £160 costs.
  5. ADAM LAKE, 23, of Harrier Drive, Didcot, admitted drink-driving in Sir Frank Williams Avenue, Didcot, on April 11. Had 82 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 17-month driving ban, fined £400, ordered to pay a £40 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
  6. JONATHAN GRIFFIN, 24, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted stealing food worth £19 from Sainsbury’s in Westgate, Oxford, on March 22. Also admitted assaulting a man by beating at the same time. Also admitted stealing four cans of alcohol, and food worth £10.25 from Sainsbury’s store in Westgate on April 14. Ordered to attend alcohol rehabilitation treatment for three months, pay a £60 victim surcharge and £150 costs.
  7. MARTIN RENDELL, 24, of Prestwick Burn, Didcot, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in The Oval, Didcot, on March 23. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.
  8. MICHAEL HARDISTY, 32, of no fixed address, admitted stealing two bottles of wine and three packets of batteries worth £22.97 from a Sainsbury’s store in Oxford on April 25. Also admitted stealing a digital radio CD player worth £99 from a Currys PC World store in Oxford on April 25. Ordered to pay £150 in court costs.
  9. RACHEL HURST, 31, of Radnor Road, Wallingford, admitted assaulting two men and two women by beating them in Sinodun Road, Wallingford, on March 22. Given a community order rehabilitation activity for up to 15 days and ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
  10. MARIUSZ KRYMOWSKI, 23, of Broadway Didcot, admitted assaulting a woman in Chris Muir Place on December 18 and 20. Plea changed to guilty; previous plea not guilty. Given a four-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months due to the offences’ domestic nature. Given a 12-month supervision requirement and ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Restraining order made against the victim until April 30, 2016. Also ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge and £960 costs.
  11. STEVEN COMBER, 37, of Queensway, Didcot, admitted assaulting a man by beating him in Turl Street, Oxford, on December 10. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £150 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
  12. SHEILA DAWSON, 76, of Watlington High Street, admitted speeding at 41mph in a 30mph zone on Andover Road, Newbury, on July 27. Fined £180 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.
  13. RICHARD FLANAGAN, 45, of Station Road, Launton, admitted speeding at 43mph in a 30mph zone on the A338 at East Hanney on July 31. Fined £180 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

  15. MARK GRIEVE, 34, of Albion Street, Chipping Norton, admitted driving at 50mph in a 30mph zone on London Road, Chipping Norton, on September 16. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge. Driving licence endorsed with four points.
  16. AARON PULLEN, 22, of St Martin’s Street, Wallingford, convicted of assaulting a woman in Wallingford on March 31, and admitted damaging a door belonging to Dominion Housing in St Martins Street on March 21 without lawful excuse. Given a 24-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.
