A NEW book about Bicester has been launched by a youth group nicknamed YoBs.
The Youth of Bicester group has worked with the OYAP Trust charity to research and pull together the best bits of the town for the book.
On Saturday the group, whose members are aged between 11 and 25, launched the book titled I am B.O.B (Book of Bicester).
Spencer Wilkinson, 17, from Bicester, said: “We wanted to make a difference and offer something back to the community.”
The team quizzed and explored the residents who make up the town, and were aided by photographer Suzy Prior.
Stories, film, photography and art were all collected as the team hit the streets of Bicester and then used to fill the book.
The book is on sale at the Studio Cafe in Crown Walk, Pioneer Square. All proceeds will go towards the OYAP Trust.
