THE Randolph Hotel will not now reopen until Saturday, May 2, after last Friday’s fire.
Originally manager Michael Grange said he hoped to reopen by Monday.
Mr Grange said the fire caused millions of pounds of damage.
The 150-year-old Victorian Gothic building in Beaumont Street was badly damaged when fire broke out in the ground-floor kitchen and spread to the roof. The fire, thought to have started after a cooking accident, also damaged rooms and corridors.
