A windfall of £97,775 has been secured for Oxford Museum, courtesy of Arts Council England.
Following a successful application last year the museum received the grant from the Arts Council’s Museum Resilience fund.
The fund aims to change the way museums operate, by making them more sustainable, resilient businesses.
Oxford City Council spokesman Chofamba Sitole said the money would support staff skills development and technologists, as well as other innovations.
Banbury Museum also received £35,175.
