MasterChef contestant Sarah McCready has made it through to the next round of the TV cooking competition.
The 24-year-old from north Bicester sailed through the first knock-out phase of the BBC programme after show judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace were impressed with her chilli con carne dish with slow braised beef and nachos.
The remaining 12 will be split into two groups to serve at a London restaurant during either tomorrow or Thursday’s episode at 8pm on BBC One. One contestant from each episode will go home.
