The trial of a woman charged with murder begins today.
Natasha Elderfield, 41, denies murdering Robert Dobinson – known locally as Robert ‘Raggy’ Smith – who was stabbed in Abingdon.
The 33-year-old, from Faringdon, died on October 19 last year after being injured on the Thames Path next to the River Thames, about 100 metres west of Abingdon Bridge.
Judge Patrick Eccles will preside over the trial at Oxford Crown Court, which is estimated to last about nine days.
