A body has been lifted out of the Thames after being found by police divers near Osney Lock.
The body was discovered shortly after 6pm, with the nearby towpath closed off to the public.
Officers are still at the scene.
The river search came after a bench on the towpath was cordoned off by police when a man’s watch was found beside a bloodstain.
Police said officers were called to the scene at 7.20am after receiving a call about the Rotary watch and bloodstain.
A police helicopter was seen above the scene at about 2pm today.
