A 21-YEAR-OLD man charged with murdering his baby son has appeared at Banbury Magistrates’ Court.
Jordon Saxton, of Untons Place, Faringdon, is accused of the murder of 11-week-old Jayden Saxton on November 18 last year.
In his first court appearance yesterday, the defendant wore a navyblue sweatshirt over a red polo shirt as he stood in the dock.
He spoke only to acknowledge the charge against him and confirm his name, date of birth and address.

The hearing lasted less than five minutes and afterwards Saxton was immediately taken back down to the cells.
He will appear at Oxford Crown Court for a preliminary hearing tomorrow.
Jayden, who lived with his parents in their Faringdon flat, was initially taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon. He was later transferred to the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, where he died.
A Thames Valley Police spokeswoman said a post mortem examination showed the cause of Jayden’s death was head injuries.
Saxton gave no indication of his plea and remains in custody.
