A 21-YEAR-OLD will appear before court on Wednesday morning accused of murdering his baby son.
Jordon Saxton was charged this evening, following a four-month investigation over the death of his 11-week-old son Jayden on November 18.
Jayden, who lived with his parents in a flat in Untons Place in Faringdon, was initially taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon. He was later transferred to the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, where he died.
A police spokeswoman said a post mortem examination showed the cause of Jayden's death was head injuries.
Saxton, whose address is now Wingate Close in Oxford, was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder and interviewed.
He is being held in custody by police overnight and will appear at Banbury Magistrates Court tomorrow.
