HE IS best known as the pub landlord.
But Al Murray has become much more than his comedy persona. He recently announced he would challenge UKIP leader Nigel Farage for his Thanet South seat in Kent in the General Election.
And yesterday he put on a special performance for Care for Casualties and the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum.
With Comic Relief on the horizon too, it is good to see the nation’s comedians using their talents for good causes.
