TWO dancing grannies took over the streets of Oxford as the city’s main annual dance festival got into full swing.
Dancin’ Oxford’s launch saw professional and community groups perform in the city.
Among those drawing in the crowds was ‘Granny Turismo’, who stunned crowds with their unique trolley dance display in Broad Street and then again in Bonn Square on Saturday afternoon.
Mary Barker and Betty Higgins put on an impressive display to a pop medley that included Single Ladies by Beyonce, Gangnam Style by Psy and Don’t Cha by the Pussycat Dolls.
Ms Barker said: “Oxford is lovely, it was a tad damp but the people have such warm hearts.”
