THE Environment Agency has issued a flood alert for the River Thame and Charlgrove Brook in parts of South Oxfordshire today.
The alert covers the section of the river from Marsworth to Dorchester including Thame, Wheatley, Cuddesdon and Waterperry.
A flood alert, the first of the three stages of the agency's flood warning system, means that flooding of low-lying land and property is possible and people should take precautions.
