BANBURY MAGISTRATES

  • Marius Patriche, 24, of Fulwell Close, Banbury, admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when required and suspected of committing a driving offence in Banbury on January 1. He was given a 17-month driving ban and a four-week curfew and told to pay a victims’ surcharge of £60 and £85 in costs.
  • Matthew Elkington, 34, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted stealing two cushions and a throw worth £39 from a Matalan store in Christchurch Court, Banbury on August 23. He also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on September 12 and was given a nine-month conditional discharge and fined £50. He was to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £35 costs.
  • Nicola Temple, 36, of Appleby Close, Banbury, admitted depositing black plastic sacks, cardboard, paper and a red plastic box without permission in Main Street, Hanwell on May 4. She was fined £110 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £472 in costs.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES

  • Scott Tarrant, 38, of Hughes Close, Charlbury, admitted stealing seven bottles of washing-up liquid worth £29.87 from a Co-op store in Atkyns Road, Oxford on May 26. He also admitted stealing seven bottles ofFairy Non Bio detergent worth £43.84 from the same store on June 14, and was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a total of £73.71 in compensation.
  • Daniel Brackett, 36, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Cornmarket Street on December 12. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
  • Dua Noah, 26, of Bardwell Court, Oxford, admitted stealing alcohol worth £49.48 from a Tesco store in Cowley Road, Oxford on January 15. He was ordered to pay £59 in compensation.
  • Steven Tomkinson, 35, of Hythe Bridge Street, Oxford, admitted stealing food worth £8 from a Tesco store in Magdalen Street on January 15. He received a 12-month conditional discharge and was told to pay a victims’ surcharge of £15.
  • Lyudmila Blades, 52, of Marigold Square, Carterton, admitted drink-driving on the A40 on January 7, with 62 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. He was given a 16-month driving ban, fined £110 and told to pay a victims’ surcharge of £20 and £85 in costs.
  • Krystian Hajduk, 27, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing alcohol worth £6.29 from the Tesco store in St Aldate’s, Oxford on January 21. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  • Keith Jones, 50, of Nuffield Road, Headington, was convicted of speeding at 43mph in a 30mph zone on Headington Road, Oxford on July 2 and of failing to give information to police which could identify a driver suspected of an offence between July 14 and August 11. He was fined £600 and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. His licence was endorsed with six points.
  • David Martin-Sperry, 68, of Mill Lane, Kirtlington, near Kidlington, was convicted of failing to give information to police which could identify the driver of a vehicle suspected of a driving offence in Banbury between May 9 and June 6. He was fined £600, ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs and his licence was endorsed with six points.
  • Thomas Blyth, 30, of Ash Close, Watlington, was convicted of using a mobile phone while driving on the A4 at Reading on June 20. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. His driving record was endorsed with three points.
  • Stone Chituzumu, 44, of Tamarisk Crescent, Shilton Park, Carterton, was convicted of speeding at 40mph in a 30mph zone in Curbridge Road, Witney on June 18. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. His driving record was endorsed with three points.
  • Stephen Cook, 50, of Cornbury Park Estate, Charlbury, was convicted of driving on a public road without having third party insurance on the A44 in Woodstock on June 21. He was fined £600 and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. His licence was endorsed with six points.
  • Simon Elford, 51, of Linacre Close, Didcot, was convicted of speeding at 40mph in a 30mph zone on Didcot Road, Long Wittenham on June 18. He was fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. His licence was endorsed with three points.
  • Forest Hall, 41, of Marston Road, Marston, was convicted of using a mobile phone while driving on The Slade, Headington, Oxford on June 23. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. His licence was endorsed with three points.
  • Mark Booth, 45, of Thame Road, Sydenham, near Chinnor, was convicted of failing to provide information to police which could identify a driver suspected of a driving offence in Banbury between June 12 and July 10. Fined £600 and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. His licence was endorsed with six points.
