Five men have been charged after a cash machine was stolen from a Morrisons store in Banbury.

The break-in took place between 3.30am and 5am on December 8 in South Bar Street.

Thames Valley Police charged six men with conspiracy to commit a burglary with intent to steal in a joint investigation with Surrey Police.

John Cooper, 42, of London Road, Ruscombe, Reading, was charged, along with Benjamin Eastwood, 22, of Stock Lane, Ingatestone, Essex, and Scott Liddiard, 44, of Moors Avenue, Cheltenham. Jimmy Loveridge, 22, of Chertsey Road, Chobham, Woking, Surrey was also charged. Clinton Bowen, 33, of Caledonian Road, Matson, Gloucester, was charged with criminal damage.

The men, all arrested and charged on December 16, will appear at Guildford Crown Court on March 5.
