An Oxford-born artist will show off his broad collection of eye-catching works to the city over the Christmas period.

Kleiner Shames is presenting work as part of the What’s What in the Teapot? event at Love Your Plane, Oxford.

The works include mixed media collage, wooden artwork and paintings.

Josh Rose, 28, who part runs Love Your Plane, said: “Kleiner Shames and I actually worked together on a few painting projects and made friends.

“We always try to support local artists from Oxford and what he is doing at the moment is really impressive.”

Love your Plane is an art and design concept store in Iffley Road and includes the Bus Stop Gallery, where the artists’ work is exhibited.

Self-taught Mr Shames’ introduction to the creative world started with graffiti and skate boarding around 15 years ago.

His work has included street art in Randolph Street and for the Cowley Road Carnival.

The colourful work will be exhibited until Saturday, January 17.
