CPRE talk about countryside ‘risk’
THE Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) Oxfordshire branch is organising a meeting in Abingdon next week entitled Save the Vale Green Belt.
The group will lead a discussion about what Vale of White Horse District Council’s Local Plan for development means to green fields in the area.
The draft Local Plan proposes 1,510 houses in the Green Belt at North Abingdon, South Kennington and Radley.
The meeting will be at Long Furlong Community Centre on Tuesday, from 7.30pm until 9pm.
