THE NOUGHTIES’ naughtiest twin sisters the Cheeky Girls got fast and furious with their hands in an Oxfordshire village for a good cause.

Gabriela and Monica Irimia kicked off a 24-hour table football marathon in East Hendred for Parkinson’s UK.

The Romanian sisters, who shot to fame with their 2002 hit single Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum), had a personal reason for lending a hand – their grandmother Vij lived with the condition for years.

Gabriela, 32, said: “We would love to see more research on how to cure Parkinson’s.”

Monica added: “We thought it was a brilliant idea.”

The marathon was held at The Marketing Practice, East Hendred, last Wednesday night with more than 100 staff taking part. It was inspired by company client, Tim Isaac, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2009.

His poem Tick-Tock, has been used by Parkinson’s UK in its campaigning.

Dame Judy Dench performs the poem alongside younger people with the condition at slypn.org.uk/stopthepdclock You can still sponsor the event online at justgiving.com/TMPmarathon
