More than 280 academics, students, councillors and trade union leaders have signed an open letter calling on the Oxford Union to cancel an event featuring Tommy Robinson.
The former leader of the English Defence League (EDL) is due to speak at the student debating society on Wednesday, a month after his recall to prison meant he had to cancel an earlier appearance.
Some of the signatories are set to attend a demonstration outside the Union, in Frewin Court, at 7pm on Wednesday.
