OXFORD MAGISTRATES

  1. Tara Dhibi, 39, of Peregrine Road, Oxford, was convicted of producing class B drug cannabis in Peregrine Road, Oxford, on January 28. He was given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £475 costs.
  2. Gary Mason, 51, of Kingsclere Road, Bicester, was convicted of producing class B drug cannabis in Peregrine Road, Oxford, on January 28. Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £475 costs.
  3. Lee Wallis, 38, of Station Road, Chinnor, admitted being drunk and disorderly in the Station Garage, Park Street, Thame, on August 30. Fined £55. Told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  4. Richard Barnes, 36, of Wolsey Road, Cutteslowe, Oxford, admitted shoplifting men’s fragrance worth £40 from Boots, in Banbury Road, Oxford, on June 19. He was told to pay £40 compensation and £85 costs.
  5. Jason Phipps, 40, of The Moors Drive, Middleton Cheney, admitted speeding at 51mph in a 30mph zone in Aynho Road, Adderbury, on February 13. He was fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. His licence was endorsed with five points.
  6. Thomas Richards, 28, of Bourton Close, Witney, admitted assault in Bourton Close, Witney, on June 26. He was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison suspended for 18 months and told to pay £1,000 compensation, an £80 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  7. Matthew Dobbs, 25, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting clothing worth £41 from Debenhams, in Oxford, on September 1. He was given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £41 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
  8. Carina Coppock, 29, of Welford Gardens, Abingdon, admitted two charges of assault by beating in Culham Road, Abingdon, on August 31. Given a six-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months and told to pay a total of £125 compensation.
  9. Peter Brown, 28, of Blacknall Road, Abingdon, admitted two charges of using abusive, threatening or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence in Abingdon on September 15. He also admitted assault by beating in Abingdon on the same date and was sentenced to three months in prison due to a breach of a suspended sentence order.
  10. David Bowley, 25, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted placing himself in a public place to beg in George Street, Oxford, on June 10. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
  11. Lino Coutinho, 32, of Marsh Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Marsh Road, Oxford, on August 5. A community order was made and he was told to complete a supervision requirement and the Building Better Relationships programme. Told to pay £200 compensation, £60 victims’ surcharge, and £80 costs.
  12. Jordan Dempsey, 22, of High Street, Wallingford, was convicted of assault by beating in Wallingford on January 12. He was given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £1,308 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge, and £600 costs.
  13. Michael Hill, 23, of Vauxhall Barracks, Didcot, admitted assault by beating in Second Avenue, Didcot, on August 2. He was fined £133 and told to pay £50 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £80 costs.
  14. Stephen Ireland, 55, of Chapmans Close, Chiselhampton, admitted speeding at 45mph in a 30mph zone on the A415 in Culham on February 22. He was fined £210 and told to pay a £21 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for six months.

 

BANBURY MAGISTRATES

  1. Daniel Hanwell, 21, of Alma Road, Banbury, admitted stealing £72.17 worth of electrical and food items from Sainsbury’s, in Bure Place, Bicester, on September 17 while subject to a conditional discharge for 12 months given at Banbury Magistrates’ Court for three counts of theft on April 7. Given a 12 months’ supervision community order and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge.
  2. Mark Adamberry, 20, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted assaulting a person at Austen Walk, Bicester, on August 31. He was ordered to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work in the next year and pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  3. Daniel Mackintosh, 18, of Kenilworth Way, Banbury, admitted possessing cannabis, a class B drug, at Princess Diana Park, in Bretch Hill, Banbury, on August 15. He was fined £110 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  4. Ann Manners, 47, of Marlborough Place, Eynsham, admitted threatening to kill someone in Eynsham on May 22. She was given a 24-month conditional discharge, given a restraining order against the victim and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  5. Charles Watson, 44, of Spring Street, Chipping Norton, admitted drink-driving at Lyneham, West Oxfordshire, on August 30. He had 80 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, over the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £324 and told to pay a £32 victims’ surcharge and £80 costs. Banned from driving for 16 months.
  6. Rebecca Curry, 31, of Boxhedge Terrace, Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Peoples Park, Banbury, on August 14. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.
  7. Lukasz Barasiewicz, 30, of Field Street, Bicester, admitted drink-driving in Bicester Market Square on August 30. Had 112 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, over the legal limit of 35mg. Banned from driving for 36 months and told to do 140 hours of unpaid work in the next year. Also ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £80 costs.
  8. Lucy Potter, 41, of Moulsford, near Wallingford, admitted speeding at 54mph in a 30mph zone on Shirburn Road, Watlington, on December 5. Fined £350 and ordered to pay a £35 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 14 days.
