A MAN has been charged after a woman was raped in a flat in Headington on Saturday and another woman attacked in South Park on Sunday.
Catalin Horhota, 41, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Sunday and has been charged with one count of rape, one count of attempted rape, two counts of sexual assault on a female, one count of burglary and one count of exposure.
The first victim was followed into a flat in Headington by her attacker between 2am and 3am. She was then raped.
On Sunday another woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted at 12.10pm in the park.
Police said Horhota’s other charges are in connection with incidents in Abingdon police station yesterday and a burglary in Morrell Avenue on Thursday .
Horhota is still in custody and will appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court later today.
