OXFORDSHIRE County Council’s sign writers need to consult their colleagues in the education department over their spelling of the word “September”.

The sign has been placed in Becket Street to warn drivers of upcoming roadworks in the area associated with the redevelopment of Frideswide Square.

Workers added two extra letters to the word, spelling “Septermeber” instead.

redstone, interesting you should mention the BBC as I've just seen an article about this on their local news section. OCC refuse to apologise and accuse the BBC of making such errors, then blame their contractors. Textbook OCC!
