Indeed, Quentin - though it doesn't say where the Police have come from! In East Oxford, both the Police and PCSOs are apparently under-staffed, with people 'covering' for people 'covering' and seemingly more people leaving or moving to other job or locations - with the big problem being recuitment, or findimg replacements. Its seemingly got so bad (though TVP flatly denies this) that PCSOs are having to support under-staffed Police, at the expense of doing their work as community support officers. What is for sure, is that Oxford City Council's former Street Wardens are sorely missed by many commumities across the City, and have not been effectively replaced by its Community Response Team, or the PCSOs for that matter.
