Student group Out of the Blue, who filmed a music video of Shakira songs to raise money for charity, has gained praise from the pop star herself.

The Colombian singer tweeted: “Hey [Out of the Blue], we LOVE your a capella Shak medley!”

The group, pictured, made up of 15 students from Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University, has released the charity single to raise money for East Oxford hospice Helen & Douglas House.

Since Shakira’s tweet the video has had more than 830,000 views on YouTube.
