A car overturned on the A420 at Cumnor causing long delays while it was cleared.

Last night, police said the incident, which took place between the B4017 Abingdon Road and Besselsleigh Road at about 5.30pm, was not believed to have caused any injuries.

Traffic was “practically stationary” according to witnesses while motorists waited for the vehicle to be recovered.

The road was opened about half an hour later.
