Motorists face delays driving along Botley Road as 11 days of roadworks began today.

The work, which Oxfordshire County Council said were sewer repairs, will involve temporary three-way traffic lights at the junction with Abbey Road.

The roadworks are expected to last until July 18.

Oxford Bus Company has warned there will be "severe delays" to its 4/400/U1 services during peak hours as a result.

Why have three way lights? This is typical of utility companies and the council. Anything to cause chaos for motorists and bring Oxford to a standstill again.
