Preparations led to carnival enjoyment

COWLEY Road Carnival was a great success and that’s not simply because the weather stayed fine – mostly.

The event was an example of what can be achieved if community groups rally round to support a cause.

Planning for the carnival takes place all year round and the detailed preparations were much evident, with the procession and bands enjoyed by young and old.
