  1. Quentin Sachetat, 22, of Mortimer Drive, Marston, Oxford, admitted driving at 50mph on St Giles, Oxford, on March 17, over the 20mph limit. Fined £155 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Banned from driving for 28 days.
  2. Mohammed Najadi, 26, of St Clement’s, Oxford, admitted stealing four bottles of alcohol, worth £115, from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on March 20. Sent to prison for seven days for being a prolific offender.
  3. David Bowley, 25, of no fixed address, admitted failing to answer bail at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on June 24, having been released on bail from Abingdon Police Station on June 10. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  4. Robert Pyne, 40, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted stealing a 46-inch television worth £499 from Sainsbury’s in Wantage on June 10 and attempting to steal £581.19 worth of cosmetics from Cowley Road Boots in Oxford on June 22. Given a six-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £499 compensation to Sainsbury’s.
  5. David Buckingham, 50, of Scotts Lane, Carterton, admitted making dishonest representations to the Department for Work and Pensions with a view to claiming Jobseekers Allowance in Carterton on June 16. Fined £220 and ordered to pay a £22 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  6. Michelle Fox, 35, of Coleman’s Hill, Headington, Oxford, admitted damaging a Vauxhall Astra in Coleman’s Hill on May 7. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £250 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  7. Patrick Dixon, 47, of Kiln Barn, Halfpenny Lane, Cholsey, near Wallingford, admitted speeding at 39mph, over the 30mph limit, on Kennington Road, Radley, on October 31. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  8. Richard Kenton-Page, 26, of John Garne Way, Marston, convicted of speeding at 52mph, over the 30mph limit, on Headington Road, Oxford, on January 6. Fined £400 and ordered to pay a £40 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with six points.
  9. Rachel Siddy, 40, of Chapel Lane, Chalgrove, admitted speeding at 35mph on the 30mph Fairmile in Henley on Thames on January 2. Fined £170 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending.
  10. Timothy Baker, 37, of High Street, Wallingford, admitted speeding at 52mph, over the 30mph limit, on Hithercroft Road, Wallingford, on December 11. Fined £665 and ordered to pay a £67 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and licence endorsed with six points.
  11. Claire Basden, 41, of Couching Street, Watlington admitted driving at 36mph on a 30mph road, namely Shirburn Road, Watlington, on October 31. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and pay £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  12. Amanda Benham, 52, of London Road, Bicester, admitted speeding at 42mph on a 30mph road, namely the B4011 at Oakely near Aylesbury on October 31. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge. Licence endorsed with four points.
  13. Jordan Davies, 20, of Dalton Barracks, Abingdon, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in High Street, Abingdon, on February 9. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

  23. Avtar Lalpurwal, 34, of Wolsey Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving in St Giles, Oxford, on June 7. Had 56 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 36-month driving ban and told to pay a £200 fine. Also told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
