A BURGLAR smashed a glass door panel and reached inside to unlock it and search a Barton home.

The break-in happened in Burchester Avenue on Saturday, May 10, between 9am and 12pm but Thames Valley Police released the details on Thursday.

Police said the home was searched but nothing was taken.
