A former teacher at the renowned Guildhall School of Music yesterday denied sexually abusing eight women – one aged under 14, it is claimed – in the 1970s and 1980s.
Philip Pickett, 63, of Lyneham Farm Cottages, Lyneham, near Chipping Norton, appeared at the Old Bailey to plead not guilty to 12 charges including rape and indecent assault. He will stand trial in September 15.
