A VAN is on fire on the M40 on the side of the southbound carriageway between junctions 11 and 10.

Smoke is blowing across the carriageway but the van itself is on the hard shoulder. Drivers are advised to go through the area, about one mile before the junction 10 turn for Brackley, with care.

Emergency services are on the scene.
