I read the interesting article about the possible reinstating of passenger services on the rail link to Littlemore and Cowley, which is an excellent idea, but why stop at Cowley?

I am right behind Elizabeth Ward with regard to the issue of dogs on leads in Aristotle Lane.

Lights will make path much safer at night-time

COUNCILLOR Mick Haines must be over the moon as after years of campaigning to get lights installed in Croft Road Recreation Ground, they have actually been put in place at last. This will make it much safer for all who use the cycle track/footpath in the hours of darkness.

‘Commemorating the Peacemakers’ was the name of an all-day conference at Friends Meeting House on November 15, an event not to miss in the calendar of events about the First World War. Thanks in part to your and the city council’s support with publicity, we had more than 80 people attending the day-time conference, and another 80 coming to the ‘peace concert’ in the evening.
