A 44-year-old man has been released without charge by detectives investigating a raid where a suspected robber died.
The Oxford man had been arrested in connection with the robbery at John Gowing Jewellers in the city’s Covered Market in March last year.
Suspected robber Clint Townsend, 33, died after he was apprehended by members of the public at the scene.
The suspect was released from police bail last month but Thames Valley Police released the details yesterday.
Two Oxford men, aged 31 and 32, also arrested on suspicion of robbery, are due to answer police bail on Tuesday, June 17.
