Warrant for arrest

A judge has issued a warrant for the arrest of a man who failed to turn up to court for his sentencing.

Judge Patrick Eccles ordered the bench warrant for James Staley, 35, who was due to be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court yesterday. Staley, of Wood Farm Road, Headington, was awaiting sentence for two charges of posession of a Class B drug, possession of cannabis and having a bladed article in a public place.
