Oxford’s Trax youth project, near the Pear Tree interchange, was the venue for the get-together on Thursday to remember stabbing victim Connor Tremble, who was killed on February 13 in an attack outside his Iffley Fields flat.
A commermorative tree was planted and a bench unveiled at Trax where the 17-year-old had been taking a City and Guilds diploma in motor vehicles.

Youth worker at the Woodstock Road facility Olivia Davies said: “We planted a tree because Trax is about growth and development. It is an apple tree, because Trax is also about giving back. The garden is a peaceful place for reflection and it represents what we believe about young people.”
Members of Connor’s family were in attendance and Lil Mizz Blazer (Charlotte Walker) and MC Yoshii (Josh Siret) performed a special rap written for Connor.
