  • Caz Charles, 24, of Cuddesdon Way, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Oxford on February 18. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
  • Scott Hadlow, 34, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted two counts of assault carried out in Speedwell Street, Oxford, on February 8, and at Abingdon Police Station, on February 9. Also admitted stealing a bottle of fragrance worth £77 from Debenhams in Oxford on March 1 and committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence made on October 1 by Oxford Magistrates’ Court for assault. Given a three-week prison sentence.
  • Mark Hendry, 38, of no fixed address, admitted refusing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when required at Abingdon Police Station on December 7. Given an 18-month driving ban. Fined £140 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge as well as £300 costs.
  • Kevin Hennessy, 35, of Hermitage Court, Cholsey, near Wallingford, admitted assault and causing criminal damage to floor tiles in Oxford on February 4. Given a 20-week prison sentence suspended for two years because of previous conviction for domestic violence and threats were made with a knife. Given a two-year supervision requirement, a domestic violence programme requirement and told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.
  • Joanne Baker, 45, of Abbott Road, Didcot, admitted driving without due care and attention on the A4185 Hagbourne Hill in Chilton on November 16. Fined £100, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with six penalty points.
  • Mabel Boon, 38, of Palm Court, Bicester, admitted shoplifting clothing and soft furnishings worth £395.50 from Debenhams in Oxford on March 12. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.
  • Daniel Collins, 29, of Middle Way, Oxford, admitted criminal damage to a window in Jessops Close, Headington, Oxford, on March 30. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and a restraining order also made. Told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.
  • Christopher Curtis, 31, of Walton Street, Oxford, admitted stealing two bicycles, one worth £215, in Oxford on March 13. Community order made with a 12-week curfew order. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Johnathan Lundregan, 36, of Church Lane, Fernham, Faringdon, admitted drink-driving at Compton Bauchamp on March 12. Had 44 micrograms in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £200, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
  • David Mcaully, 26, of Station Road, Didcot admitted drink-driving on the A4130 in Milton on March 14. Had 52 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £300, a £30 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.
  • Ross Sampford, 33, of Quarry Road, Bayworth, Abingdon, admitted possession of Class A drug cocaine in Abingdon on March 15. Fined £250, a £25 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Anthony Sheard, 53, of Pinnocks Way, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Eynsham Road, Oxford on March 13. Had 89 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Also admitted driving without a licence and insurance. Fined £425 and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 22 months.
  • Samuel Cooper, 22, of Valence Crescent, Deer Park, Witney, admitted shoplifting two bottles of wine worth £12.73 from Tesco Express in Station Lane, Witney, on January 25. Community order made with a drug rehabilitation requirement and supervision order. Told to pay £12.73 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.
  • David Reid, 45, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Peregrine Road, Oxford, on March 27. Sent to prison for 16 weeks because offence so serious, defendant only just released from custody and assaulted the same victim in the past. Given a restraining order against the victim.
  • Winston Fine, 49, of Territorial Way, Headington, admitted stealing a laptop on February 19. Given a community order requiring drug rehabilitation treatment for six months and supervision requirement for nine months. Ordered to pay £160 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Wilbert Gabbidon, 56, of Pegasus Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis and cannabis resin, Class B drugs, in Oxford on May 23. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Suzette Langsbury, 25, of Pipley Furlong, Littlemore, admitted allowing cannabis, a Class B drug, to be produced at her home on January 9. Given a community order with 40 hours of unpaid work in the next year, and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £42.50 costs.
  • Warrick Langsbury, 36, of Pipley Furlong, Littlemore, admitted producing cannabis, a Class B drug, at home on January 9. Given a community order requiring nine months of supervision and 100 hours of unpaid work in the next year. Ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £42.50 costs.
  • James Lennon, 40, of Oxford Road, Old Marston, admitted stealing £52.69 worth of meat from Co-op in London Road, Headington, on December 17. Also admitted obstructing a police constable in the execution of duty on the same occasion. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Sam Woolford, 21, of Schofield Avenue, Witney, admitted assaulting a man by beating him in Witney Market Square on January 26. Also admitted racially-aggravated harassment of PC Javid Haq, obstructing PCs Cartwright, Haq, Thirkell and Guntert in the execution of their duty, and causing £96 worth of criminal damage to a cell at Abingdon Police Station on the same date. Given a community order with 200 hours of unpaid work in the next year and ordered to pay £246 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
