A MOTORBIKE club will deliver hundreds of Easter eggs to disabled children.

Caldarium MCC will have plenty to go round after receiving £300 worth of chocolate eggs from the Co-op supermarket in Carterton.

More than 20 bikers will set off on May 10 to hand them out with cuddly toys to children at Bardwell School, in Bicester, Headington’s Viking House Short Break Respites Centre and Scope and Hilltop House, in Little Minton.

Organiser Christine Earl, set up the group with her husband George in 2000 because their daughter Mandy, now 30, has learning difficulties.

Mrs Earl said: “We do it every year and it’s so much fun. The kids come out and get on our bikes and it’s a really nice day.

“We just go to see their faces and they absolutely love it. At Bardwell School they will usually be waiting for us, because they can hear the bikes.”

The group has raised almost £35,000 for local charities and delivered more than 12,000 Easter eggs and 5,000 cuddly toys since it was launched.
