The family of a missing Wallingford man is very worried about him, police have said today.

Mark Jones, 35, was last seen in Fir Tree Avenue on Sunday.

Police have described him as white, about 5ft 10ins, of a medium build, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

He has long hair which he sometimes wears in a ponytail or a bun.

Officers also believe Mr Jones is wearing dark clothing, including a hooded top and dark boots.

He has links to Cornwall, Lancaster, and Edinburgh but he does not have access to any vehicles.

Investigating officer Det Insp Louise Roddy said: "Mark’s family are extremely concerned for his welfare and desperately want him to come home.

"If Mark is reading this you’re not in any trouble, just please get in touch with your family or police so we know you are safe and well."

Anyone with information on Mr Jones’s whereabouts should contact the Thames Valley Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
