Toe-tapping pupils took to the stage in an evening of glitter and dancing as part of the Junior Strictly competition.

More than 30 pupils from Ducklington Primary School, near Witney, danced the cha cha cha and the waltz in front of proud parents and teachers.

They were joined at the school in Aston Road by professional dancers and judges for the night’s show.

Lisa Brown, a PE teacher at Ducklington Primary School, said: “This event is all about giving them their opportunity to shine.”

Fantastic effort by all, Miss Brown did a great job of coaching the children, arranging the evening AND dancing in the show herself.

The children were amazing, each and everyone - what a close competition! Well done kids.

The judges were great too and I thoroughly enjoyed the display from the professional dancers.

All in all a brilliant, totally enjoyable evening for all involved - spectators and participants.

Thank you Ducklington School
