THEY say diamonds are a girl’s best friend.
But at a half-term pony camp held at Huntersfield Equestrian Centre in Little Coxwell, it was Diamond the pony’s “swishy tail” that turned the head of Charlotte Leung, seven, from Abingdon.
The Manor Prep School student said: “It was really exciting. I didn’t know what I was going to do until they told us. I was very excited and I really enjoyed the event.
“Diamond was the first big pony I have ever ridden. I did some mucking out at the stables and it was actually quite fun.”
