Police officers arrested a 20-year-old man last night in connection with a stabbing in Oxford.
The man was arrested by officers from a house in Evesham Place, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, on suspicion of attempted murder.
He is in custody at a police station in the Thames Valley.
The arrest was made in connection with an incident at a flat in Fairacres Road, Donnington, Oxford, at 6.45pm on Thursday, in which a 17-year-old boy was stabbed.
He was treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for injuries to his chest, legs and hands and his condition was described as stable.
