FORMER Big Brother presenter Davina McCall is used to getting other people to do challenges.

But now the shoe is on the other foot.

She came through the county on day six of a seven-day challenge which is seeing her attempt to run, swim and cycle over 500 miles from Edinburgh to London.

Davina said: “I feel like I’m going to walk like John Wayne for a week.

“I had a lovely message from a lady telling me she knows just how I feel, like you just want to sit in a puddle – and that’s what I want to do.

“I’m trying to find ways of helping, but nothing really works because the damage was done on the first day and I can’t give myself time to repair it – it’s just ongoing.”

Davina will finish her 90-mile cycle today at The Bull Ring, Birmingham, after being joined by two friends for the final 60 miles.

She is taking part in the BT Sport Relief Challenge to raise money for Sport Relief.
