Staff at Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University are preparing to go on strike again tomorrow in an ongoing dispute about pay.
The dispute between the University and College Union and university leaders was prompted when UK university staff refused to accept a one per cent pay offer for this academic year.
UCU members are complaining that the one per cent pay rise offer represents a 13 per cent pay cut, in real terms, since 2009.
UCU general secretary Sally Hunt said UK academics were paid significantly less than colleagues in most other English-speaking countries.
