ACTOR Shaun Evans was spotted filming in a North Oxford street for the second series of Endeavour, about the formative years of Inspector Morse.

Mr Evans, who plays the title character Endeavour Morse, was spotted filming scenes inside a house in Norham Road on Monday.

The second series, set in the 1960s, will be made up of four two-hour episodes by screenwriter Russell Lewis.

Parts of the city centre were closed in November when the actor and Roger Allam, who plays Detective Inspector Fred Thursday, shot scenes for the ITV1 show.
