John Gilsenan, 41, of Whitton Close, Greatworth, Banbury, admitted drink driving in Southam Road, Banbury, on December 12. Had 57 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 12-month driving ban and fined £500. Told to pay a £50 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Jamie Jakeman, 33, of Samuelson Close, Banbury, admitted stealing three joints of meat worth £60.04 from Marks and Spencer in Bridge Street, Banbury, on December 14. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Denise McMillan, 22, of no fixed address, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Oxford Road, Banbury, on December 3. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Marcus Morris, 47, of Ruskin Walk, Bicester, admitted stealing two bottles of Irish liquer worth £9.40 from Tesco in Sheep Street, Bicester, on December 15. Fined £110 and told to pay a 320 victims’ surcharge.

Andrew Moss, 25, of Busby Close, Stonesfield, Witney, admitted drink driving in Woodstock Road, Woodstock, on December 14. Had 107 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 24-month driving ban and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Community order made with 60 hours of unpaid work.

Charlie Murray, 21, of Sheep Street, Bicester, admitted possession of cannabis in Yates’s in Sheep Street, Bicester on October 12. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Paramjit Sahota, 32, of Keats Road, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in George Street, Banbury, on December 31. Had 88 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £300, a £30 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 44 months.

Manveer Sandhu, 22, of Martin Close, Bicester, admitted possession of cannabis in Martin Close, Bicester on December 20. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Thomas Thatcher, 20, of Bradshaw Close, Steeple Aston, admitted criminal damage worth £561.06 to a window belonging to Timpsons in Parsons Street, Banbury. Fined £300, £561 compensation, a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Mohammad Basharat, 35, of West Street, Banbury, admitted possession of diamorphine in Bolton Road, Banbury on December 4 and again in Banbury on January 11. Also admitted possession of cannabis in Banbury on January 11. Sent to prison for 12 weeks.

Keith Fenn, 31, of Kiln Avenue, Chinnor, admitted shoplifting lager worth £12 from Sainsbury’s in Thame on August 12, lager and cola worth £9.38 from BP services in Thame on September 2, and beer worth £10.50 from BP services in Thame on September 5. Given an 18-month conditional discharge, told to pay a total of £31.88 compensation, £40 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Paul Cleaver, 38, of Lapsley Drive, Banbury, convicted of assault by beating in Lapsley Drive, Banbury on October 27 and admitted criminal damage worth £500 to a mobile phone in Lapsley Drive, Banbury on October 27. Fined £165, £75 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £250 costs.

Winspere Thomas, 63, of Saxon Way, Headington, Oxford, convicted of two charges of assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty in Owens Way, Cowley, Oxford on July 28. Sent to prison for eight weeks.

Paul Clarke, 31, of Barwood Court, Rotary Way, Banbury, admitted stealing eight packs of steak worth £40 from a Co-op store in Hanwell Fields, Banbury, on August 10. Fined £75 and told to pay £40 compensation and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

John Rose, 25, of Van Diemans Lane, Oxford, convicted of breaching a restraining order by harassment on September 3 in Oxford by following someone in an aggressive manner in a vehicle. Community order made with four-week curfew requirement and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £300 costs.

Bryn Barrick, 42, of Luther Street, Oxford, convicted of being drunk and disorderly in Luther Street, Oxford on October 2. Fined £20 and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Alexander Salvesen, 28, of The Greates, Oxford, admitted shoplifting meat worth £16.72 in Oxford on November 15. Fined £20 and £20 costs.

Kalem Edwards, 21, of Sandy Lane West, Blackbird Leys, Oxford admitted going to a house he was prohibited from visiting by a non-molestation order made on March 4, 2013. Sent to prison for 18 weeks.

Sarah Goffin, 31, of Oakwood Way, Cumnor, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Oakwood Way on January 12. Given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Leslie Phillips, 63, of Peat Moors, Headington, Oxford, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment or distress and possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Kenilworth Road, Cumnor, on December 23, while subject to a 12-month conditional discharge imposed on April 18, 2012. Fined £160 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

David Marchant, 43, of Minster Lovell, Witney, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress at Valence Crescent, Witney, on May 29 and at Aldsworth Court, Witney, on July 7 and 13. Given a community order requiring attendance in an alcohol-related aggression management course for 10 days and an exclusion order from Aldsworth Court for six months. Ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £500 costs. Given a restraining order against victim.

Peter McDonnell, 54, of Stowford Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted stealing meat worth £16.31 from Waitrose in Old High Street, Headington, on December 24. fined £60 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

Jamiel Haq, 22, of Clarks Row, Oxford, admitted dishonestly assisting in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of a stolen pedal cycle worth £200 in Oxford between January 1 and 4. Given a community order with a one-month curfew between 9pm and 6am, and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Ben Miller, 20, of Nowell Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Kempson Crescent, Oxford, on December 12. Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for two years and required to participate in a community domestic violence program for 28 days. Ordered to pay £200 compensation, £80 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs.
