A care assistant originally from Hong Kong was found hanged from a tree in Shotover Park.
Liladebi Sunwar, 33, was found in the Oxford park last Sunday and declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
Mrs Sunwar, of Chillingworth Crescent, Headington, is survived by her husband, who is currently a serving member of the British armed forces.
A post mortem revealed the cause of death was hanging. An inquest was opened and adjourned at Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court on Wednesday.
