Jewellery was stolen from a home in Preston Crowmarsh while the owners were on holiday in Mexico.
The break-in happened between December 29 and December 30, and among the items of jewellery taken were metal bands commemorating Americans killed in the Vietnam war and the September 11 terrorist attack in New York.
Pc Katie Ford, from Didcot police station, said: “These are highly-identifiable items and will be very hard for the suspects to get rid of.”
